Human/ color theory
Did a color theory on skin color in my free time! Was really educational and interesting. Did a process recap on one of the illustrations. In one of the process scenes, you could see I started on another one on different facial features as well stay tuned to see more of that! : )

Started out with the values in the face to catch the shadows and highlights. A rough sketch to be able to see the bigger picture in the process. This is a typical case of "trust the process".
Later on, I got into more details within the facial structure. I am working in different layers. So at this point and forward, I am hiding the hair to make it easier to draw out the face.
In this stage, I am making the face more proportional. That is why I'm switching back and forth with the canvas rotation, to eventually fix any mistakes. As well as smoothing out the harsh lines within the strokes.
Same as the last one but with the other illustrations.
Lastly, I drew the hair. I'm using the same principles as in the face. My main focus of the hair was the harsh stroke of highlights, to be able to indicate the multiple hair strokes in the hairstyle.
And here is the finished product!
